A day in Oceans (Year 3 and 4)

Our Daily Routine

Your child will be invited into school from the gate in the playground by a member of the team at 8.25.  If you have any messages for your child’s key person the team member at the gate can pass that on for you, or answer any quick questions. The doors will close at 8.30 so that we can make a snappy start to our day.  At the end of the day please wait at the bottom of the steps next to the May Pole at the main entrance to the Primary School to collect your child.  School is open from 8.25 – 2.45 every day except Wednesday when we finish at 2.30.

Our lunchtimes are an important part of our school day.  This is part of curriculum time, focussing on conversation and listening skills.   At the table we take it in turns to serve up lunch, pour drinks and clear. Key Stage 2 children are not eligible for the Universal Free School Meals scheme.  If your child is having school dinners the price per meal is £2.10. Please make sure this is ordered and paid for by the end of Wednesday on the preceding week.  You can find more details about this in our Information section.

Children in KS2 need to bring in their own healthy snack each day.  Please make sure this isn’t chocolate or crisps and that it doesn’t contain nuts.
